Eclipse Signals Change
Total eclipse of the sun.... reminds me of the Carly Simon song, "You're so Vain" that was at the top of the charts when I was a senior in high school. This week we experienced a total eclipse on Monday, April 8th, 2024. The second full solar eclipse in seven years with the last one taking place August 21, 2017.
Eclipse signals change. Have you perhaps noticed any changes from August 2017 until now? Change seemed to be the key ingredient over the last few years. In fact more change than most of us expected.
So what change does this eclipse signal?
I'm not sure anyone can answer that question with accuracy. I've heard many opinions that I cannot confirm or deny. So instead I want to share with you my experience.
The energy of eclipse signals change and that prompted me to reflect. What I discovered was that I was feeling the energy of change about a month or so before the eclipse.
Upon reflection I realized that I changed:
the furniture in my office to create a new setting for myself, my videos and for online interactions
my toothbrush (to pink of-course)
my tea containers (ditched the zip-lock bags)
my website design (soon to be launched – will keep you posted)
my iPhone with a purple case indeed (not by choice, but covered under insurance)
and my approach to blog content (being guided to share a personal experience rather than what I think entrepreneurs might be interested in)
The most interesting part of all of those changes is that they were not planned, they just happened and I felt compelled to make the change. Like the change itself was driving the train and I was along for the ride. I was given some creative input 🥹, but otherwise I was a passenger. The energy of change came over me and things just happened.
Through all of these changes it was fun even exhilarating… well except for maybe the iPhone transfer of data and setting everything up again. The energy of creation was front and center, the ideas flowed, time was irrelevant, it felt good.
Often times we look for change outside of us, in the collective, in the world. For me what this eclipse is asking from us is to look for the changes within our own lives. Look around. Take a moment to reflect on recent changes in your life. How did they feel?
The eclipse signaled change, you can ignore it and be caught up on the flow without awareness. Or you can choose to play and interact with the energies of change that continue to flood us post-eclipse.
Tuning into these energies can assist entrepreneurs to tune into the frequencies of their own offerings.
